Dear fellow Information Technology professional,
Welcome to the Rural Information Technology Association for IT Professionals in Northeastern Kansas, or RITA.
RITA is the single organization that devotes itself specifically to IT education, and socialization. It is our mission to provide IT professionals with a place to gather to share the latest developments in technology & techniques, processes, and best methods. RITA promotes understanding of the mutuality of business and socialization within the rural information technology industry.
RITA also encourages productive dialog between industry and local professionals regarding information technology education and current events. RITA seeks to encourage acceptance and continuing development of the model curricula created by AITP and its foundation for Information Technology development.
RITA annually holds the Information Technology Professional's Conference (ITPC) in the Summer - during which time the "Professional of the Year" award is presented.
